BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE EXPERT. Duties: apply theoretical principles of Artificial Intelligence and Fuzzy Logic to the development of novel and cutting edge solutions to problems in the developing area of Adaptive Business Intelligence (ABI) in a MicroStrategy environment; meet with existing and prospective enterprise clients to define the scope and nature of the enterprise’s reporting and information reqs that ABI solutions could meet; develop proof-of-concept studies for prospective ABI projects; work with project managers to identify design and implementation issues anticipated in meeting enterprise client requirements; troubleshoot issues arising during development and implementation; remotely health check client’s BI systems environments during and after implementation; identify additional opportunities for the application of ABI solutions; and supervise a team of 3 (2 Business Intelligence Developers & a Business Analyst), whose role shall be to assist the BI Expert in identifying requirements and developing, implementing and troubleshooting BI solutions.
REQS: Master’s in Systems Analysis; 5 yrs exper as MicroStrategy Specialist, incl designing and developing BI solutions architecture, managing BI teams in the development & implementation of BI solutions in at least 3 industry sectors & in a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant implementation environment, conducting health-check of enterprise clients’ BI systems, & developing proof-of-concept studies; and some travel also req’d.
